Peter W. Heller | CEO
Peter W. Heller, born 1957, is the sole shareholder and CEO of forseo. He completed his Ph.D studies in Economics and Philosophy at the Universities of St. Gallen and Lausanne/Switzerland as well as in Freiburg/Germany in 1988. From 1990-1997 he served as the City of Freiburg's Deputy Mayor for the Environment. Peter W. Heller has been the Executive Director of the Canopus Foundation - a private family foundation - since 1997. He is a co-founder of the BASE Foundation in Basel/Switzerland and has served as a board member of the Foundation since 2001. Since 1998, Peter W. Heller has played strategic roles as an early-stage investor and co-founder of solar and wind power enterprises, as well as energy efficiency technology developers. He serves as the Chairman of the supervisory board of S.A.G. Solarstrom AG (Prime Entry Standard Stock Exchange Frankfurt), a publicly listed solar PV system integrator in Germany, and is a member of the supervisory board of Streb AG.

Astrid Grell | Office Manager
Astrid Grell, born in 1976, studied landscape architecture in Hanover, focussing on regional and landscape planning and environmental management. Her thesis was written on solid biomass. After completing her studies, she worked for one year as a freelance at the City of Hanover Environment Department. She has worked at forseo since April 2005. Amongst other things she also was responsible for the production of the Biogas-guide for Credit Institutions and managed the RegioNER project.
